Pepeluali is Hawaiian Language Month.
In honor of Hawaiian Language month, Hui Makua has collaborated with Makua Ane Bakutis, of Kealopiko, to create a shirt fundraiser benefiting our kula. Our kumu worked with Ane to inspire a beautiful and exclusive design, highlighting the ʻoli kahea and ʻuala of our district. Mahalo to Ane and Kealopiko for offering this generous gift. We will wear it proudly! E ola mau ka ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi!
